Our primary concern has always been the safety of our staff, clients and partners. This could not be more true than during this pandemic.

Since arrival of COVID-19 in Canada, everyones lives changed drastically, and the world is quickly evolving. Green Miles is supporting hundreds of clients by providing additional prevention services including touch-point sanitizing, assisting in the setup of hygienic sanitation stations, fogging, and more.

We continue to monitor Health Canada and BC provincial health authorities and the World Health Organization, to serve our clients better by utilizing practical information on the COVID-19 spread prevention.

Our entire team demonstrated great dedication to our customers during the first critical weeks of the pandemic when we ramped up services to many of our panicked partners. During this period of time many of our staff worked tirelessly 18-hour days and 7 days a week to get the proper sanitation measures in place as per new requirements. Our entire team understood the critical nature of the situation and sacrificed their own free time to address it as quickly as possible and at the highest quality standards.

It has been of the utmost importance for Green Miles to ensure we have strict operating guidelines for our crews, recognizing the fact that our staff work in our clients’ facilities. Following Health Canada recommendations we limited the business travel of the staff and any team member that has travelled for personal reasons is required to self-isolate for 14 days. Crew members exhibiting any of the COVID-19 symptoms are required to self-isolate and, should those symptoms persist, to be tested for the virus. We work closely with our clients and ask them to inform us immediately of any incidents involving COVID-19 so that we can take the appropriate steps to ensure the safety of our staff and partners.  

During this time, following health authority guidelines, we have limited in-person communication almost completely and were able to conduct most of communication with clients, staff and suppliers by phone and email. During the time when we have to be on-site, our staff maintain proper distancing and wears gloves and masks at all times. As a result of those efforts, we are proud to say that there were no cases of COVID-19 among our staff.
